The oldest US State Capitol in continuous legislative use dating from 1772 housing the General Assembly, Governor and Lieutenant Governor.

The dome of the building is constructed of wood with the use of nails. This spectacular state house and gardens contain a wealth of exhibits including the bronze statue of George Washington signing his resignation from The Revolutionary War Army. Please note picture ID required.
